Our School Placement Binder and File provided access for parent and child to have easy access through this process. And if you have the luxury, use a white board or chalkboard to keep a visual reminder of the status of your search.
ROADMAP TO HS_SUMMARY WORKSHEET
This simple summary worksheet should be completed separately by child and parent after a school tour or visit. It served as a quick reminder of which school was which after touring more than a dozen schools. It also allows you to keep the process in order by confirming what assets you have sent and when.

SCHOOL COMPARISON WORKSHEETS-
The single most useful tool in our Toolbox was this completely overwhelming at first spreadsheet that helped in the initial search for RIGHT FIT schools. It’s a great way to get started and help narrow the search, but don’t freak out, you probably won’t need all of this information. Just decide which is the most relevant and delete the rest based on your preferences and priorities. The attached EXCEL spreadsheet link is the high res printable version that will be most useful.
